We started this organization with one clear vision - to create an amazing baseball experience for families in Colorado Springs.
Coach Josh Larrinaga

the past seasons record by 10 wins and competing in the RMAC post season
tournament both years of the program's existence. Before coming to UCCS
Josh spent 5 years at Palomar College in San Diego where he was responsible for
working with the hitters and outfielders. During his time at Palomar, the
Comets won the Pacific Coast Athletic Conference 5 years in a row and had one
appearance in the final four of the state championship. During Josh's
time in San Diego he coached with different club team organizations including
many of the top national programs. He moved to Colorado Springs with his

Nathan Gorsch
Team Administrator

Nathan helped start a successful youth club in Colorado Springs, but his son aged out of the youth tournaments and was faced with either playing for a weaker local team or driving to Denver to play on a more competitive team. Through a mutual friend, he met Coach Josh to talk about the formation of a new competitive team in Colorado Springs for 15 & 16 year old players. They began to brainstorm ideas and created the concept for the Catamounts. Nathan played college baseball at Lincoln Christian University and has coached baseball at the youth, junior high, high school and college level and currently helps coach a competitive fastpitch team.
